trigger .... do remember that a chart is but a chart and not some Holy Grail .... i know PT was reckoning next support at 34, but there is of course no certainty that will provide the floor ..... for all that, no share falls in a straight line, and if you are a trader, then there could be about 10% upside, though remember spread and costs

proteus - 30 Jul 2007 12:04 - 1995 of 2037

No ramping from me,just pulling apart unsubstantiated deramping.Like to elaborate on " profit rigging maths". Show me where the figures are wrong then. I can help you if you don't understand the maths.
Now would you also like to elaborate on the threat of more to come and stirring up a hornets nest. What do you mean by that ?

trigger45 - 30 Jul 2007 12:33 - 1996 of 2037

I fully understand that cynic, but if the gentleman has called it right through studying the chart, and many do put their faith in charts, I will be happy on this occassion.

cynic - 30 Jul 2007 12:44 - 1997 of 2037

PT will tell you, as shall i, that charts are but a tool that are worth considering in many circumstances.

Ian

Just my little joke and of course I understand you editing my post :)

Doesn't change what is a widely held opinion though. Just a thought, when does opinion become fact? :))

40p beckoning once again...

AdieH - 06 Aug 2007 12:18 - 2000 of 2037

Well it is certainly quiet again in here, big correction in FTSE recently and it was interesting to see that COH was mirroring the fall... had some correspondance with RW he stated that in regard to selling any stake the company were in a closed period and if he had the opportunity then he would like to buy at these prices... Before i'm accused I am not ramping just giving a positive contribution to this thread... Cynic what are the charts telling you?

cynic - 06 Aug 2007 12:28 - 2001 of 2037

here? ..... same as they did before ..... why buy?

AdieH - 06 Aug 2007 12:47 - 2002 of 2037

Well maybe he agrees with the brokers... and taking a long term view... who knows I am not a mind reader...

sinutab - 08 Aug 2007 10:13 - 2003 of 2037

I finally took my money off the table this morning. Can use it elsewhere to better effect.

cynic - 08 Aug 2007 10:24 - 2004 of 2037

someone with sense at last!

proteus - 09 Aug 2007 22:00 - 2005 of 2037

I think it depends on your style.Over the last couple of weeks you could have used your money to better effect in B.Soc cash.If you take a 5 yr view and don't want to get involved you'd be better off in say Tesco or Rio.If you're a trader the present market volatility is great if you get it right. If you look at a 1 month investment there are plenty of oil explo's expecting news.Soco has been well researched and is delivering as predicted, lots of hope in MTA/MXP/EME/PANR IEC etc.I would see COH as a 2 yr investment, steady growth with the 2 yr tax break at that time.Taking a 2 yr view where else would anyone suggest as a better place than COH ?

trigger45 - 10 Aug 2007 08:39 - 2006 of 2037

I'm still in as I believe long term they will deliver. With no news being posted it looks as if there could be some pain in the short term though.

AdieH - 10 Aug 2007 08:55 - 2007 of 2037

FTSE nearly 100 points down, the last couple of times the FTSE fell so did COH... A programme on the radio was saying they believed the markets would drop between 5 to 10%... Agree that short term the price will be affected but long term nothing has changed and hopefully news on roll outs will help SP recover to previous levels...

cynic - 10 Aug 2007 08:58 - 2008 of 2037

if market weakness continues at all, expecy 34p to be hit which, from memory, was the support level PT indicated a couple of weeks back

AdieH - 15 Aug 2007 11:54 - 2009 of 2037

Good post on ample or iii website in regard to new developement in the difficulties in getting these developements passed planning etc... gives an insight to these difficulties and shows that what COH have been saying is true trying to find prime sites and how long it takes...

AdieH - 23 Aug 2007 12:50 - 2010 of 2037

Hi, Hope everyone is well, just wondering if anyone else intends to go to the AGM which will probably be in Nov/Dec probably in Uckfield (East Sussex)...

I would also guess that our friend has either decided he has had enough of this thread/company or has been removed...

Regards.

Ultimate Cynic - 24 Aug 2007 15:14 - 2011 of 2037

AdieH, I am relying on the possibility that David10B has been removed so I have un-squelched you. I'm looking forward to reading your posts again without any reference to David.
Cheers, UC.
