Celebrity culture - I totally agree with you gf, another bad habit we picked up from America. Watched the paper review on Sky News the other week and one reviewer was a "celebrity fitness trainer". Does that mean he doesn't train anyone who, in his view, isn't a celebrity?

I have never watched one of these shows as the smallest exert shown to promote the shows, is more than enough to show what utter rubbish they are.
It does though go to show the mentality of the viewer.

I often think we had more choice of decent programs when we only had the basic channels, than we now have with so many multiple choices.
Almost every week, another new channel comes out, with yet more rubbish.
As for discipline, if I get going on that one, I will be here all night!

I think "celebrity fitness trainer" could be interpreted two ways
1) someone who trains celebrities
2) someone who IS a celebrity, and who trains anyone.

Just like "celebrity chef" might mean someone who cooks for celebrities, or someone who IS a celebrity and cooks for anyone.
