Streaming Services Stockwatch and Level 2

IanT(MoneyAM) - 20 Jul 2006 07:20

All.

We had some issues overnight where our streaming services did not reset, we have now restarted them but there is currently missing order book information, and issues with buy and sell volumes on stockwatch. This should start to remedy itself as orders come in, but I will keep you posted.

square101,

The first 2 times the java 'sun' appeared and tried to connect. Now I just get the red 'X' in the top left of the box with the 'nonintiated' message at the bottom of the window. I've checked my java is working ok via the sun micro website

square,

It sounds like the applet is not loading - can you try restarting your machine for me and let me know if that makes a difference?

OK,

Orders should be appearing on Level 2 - there will be missing ones from before when we started the stream at c7.15 this morning. I will see what the tech boys can do about this, and let you know.

OK,

The buy and sell volumes have reset as of 8am - therefore yesterdays totals have been taken out, but be aware, that any trades prior to 8am will not be included in there.

My buys & sells ain't reset and i've logged out & back in!!!

IanT(MoneyAM) - 20 Jul 2006 08:11 - 12 of 18

rjd,

can you give me a specific epic - it may be that if there have been no new buys and sells since 8 am they have remained unchanged. Give me an epic and I will investigate.

I will get the tech guys to investigate, but due to the earlier issues we had it may not be possible to reset these at the moment. I will of course let you know, and I apologise for the inconvenience,

hawick,

Please accept my apologies for this - unfortunately, unless a buy and a sell goes through, the colum,ns cannot be cleared at this point in time. I will speak to JT to see if we can put a reset through on this, but I cannot promise,

Cheers ian - no worries, some of them have blank trading days, so I guess I'll just have to hope someone sees the light and buys a few of each!!
