Hello traders!

Just before the close in the US, the Dow Jones had gained 55.71 points at 11,106.76. The S&P500 was up 8.24 points at 1,269.15 and the Nasdaq Composite rose 11.02 points to 2,072.86.

Good morning traders!

In Asia today, the Hang Seng closed the morning up 10.98 points at 16,594.84, while the Nikkei was recently down 77.45 points at 14,927.79.

New York's main oil contract, light sweet crude for delivery in September, was down 3 cents at $73.72 per barrel compared with $73.75 in late US trade overnight.
