Hello traders!

In the US tonight, according to preliminary calculations, the Dow rose 132.39 points to 11,230.26. The S&P500 rose 17.37 points to 1,285.58, while the Nasdaq Composite gained 45.97 points at 2,115.01.

Good morning traders!

In Asia today, the Hang Seng closed the morning up 152.70 points at 17,426.77, while the Nikkei was recently up 235.86 points at 16,052.05.

New York's main oil contract, light sweet crude for September delivery, had dropped 13 cents to $72.92 a barrel from its close of $73.05 in the US overnight.
