Security breach at Lloyds TSB online banking? (LLOY)
Bolshi - 06 Sep 2006 10:25
I have just gone to the Lloyds TSB page to login to my online banking and it took me straight to my wifes accounts without asking for passwords, memorable info etc. She hadn't been on the PC this morning at all.
Have you got a Lloyds TSB online account? Best to check it.
I've passed the problem on to Lloyds.
Now where did she get all that money from ??????

Bolshi - the last time your wife accesssed your bank account did she check the box that always pops up wherein Windows (kindly?) offers to remember you password and settings. If she has, you will be directed staright to your account page without need for password validation - Windows has done it for you. Just a thought.
Or, it could just be a security breach (though unkikely)

Starfrog. Yes, I have asked it to remember details. But on normal log-on my reference is filled in but not password or memorable information.
Edit: Someone on the Traders thread has had the same problem some time ago it appears. It looks to be a PC cache problem.

Bolshi - if it is a cache problem have you tried simply clearing your browser history?

Yes and that would solve the problem temporary but how many of us delete cache history every night?
