Hello traders!

According to preliminary calculations, the Dow Jones industrial average gained 67.71 points at 11,575.81 tonight. The S&P500 rose 11.59 to 1,326.37 and the Nasdaq Composite rose 30.14 to 2,249.07.

Good morning traders!

In Asia today, the Hang Seng ended the morning down 26.83 points at 17,519.21, while the Nikkei was recently down 104.16 points at 15,529.65.

New York's main oil contract, light sweet crude for November delivery, was up 10 cents at $61.55 a barrel from $61.45 in late US trades Monday.
