Hello traders!

In late trading, the Dow fell 4.88 to 11,852.93, but remains near its record closing high of 11,866.69.

The S&P500 rose 1.26 to 1,351.92 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 1.23 to 2,310.54.

Good morning traders!

In Asia today, the Hang Seng closed the morning down 12.45 points at 17,811.25, while the Nikkei was recently up 20.56 points at 16,497.81.

New York Mercantile Exchange's main oil contract, light sweet crude for November delivery, was up a cent at $58.53 a barrel from $58.52 in late trading in the US overnight.
