Take a look at the MKM chart: This was a dog but I believe is on the verge of a breakout.
This is the company that kept Anne Robinson, Nikki Campbell and co 'happy' in 2005; a disastrous cruise promotion ended in an expensive settlement to Express Newspapers and came within an ace of finishing the company and then there was Tsunami to add to the woes. They still do travel and voucher promotions.
However the recovery looks to have been impresive. Management changes, restructuring and a second half profit in the latest results, talk of a 'complementary acquistion', all bolstered by substantial Director buying, (including a buy of 4 million shares) would indicate this company is a now established turnaround story.
And the chart could be set to lift off in spectacular style - it's the bit I like best here, so as this is small caps for big profits I'm looking for a near doubling from the current 8.5p in time for my 24th December shopping trip!
WH Ireland are forecasting 1.3p for the current 12 month period. (They made 3p in 2004 before the Express disaster, but both are now history); cash in the bank is worth 1.7 million, and at 9p the market cap is about 4 million.
Good value and despite a severe funding shortage, I bought a few this morning.
