Hello traders!

When last I checked, in New York, the Dow had lost 7 points at 12,308, after hitting another all-time high of 12,368.

The S&P 500 had gained 0.5 points to 1,412 and the Nasdaq Composite had dropped 3.2 points to 2,428.

Good morning traders!

In Asia today, the Nikkei closed up 136.27 points at 16,829.20, while the Hang Seng reached the midpoint up 140.45 points at 18,858.64.

New York Mercantile Exchange's main oil contract, light sweet crude for January delivery, was up 19 cents at $61.56 a barrel from $61.37 in late US trading overnight.
