Research help needed

kmoorman - 03 Feb 2007 10:39

I have been out of the share investment habit for a few years now, and I was going through some paperwork the other day and I came across some share certificates. I did a quick check on a couple of sites and I can't seem to find out if these companies still exist (which probably means they don't!).

Can anyone help me? The companies are:

Avanti Capital Plc - Melton Registrars
Medi@Invest Plc - IRG Registrars
Retail Decisions - Connaught St Michaels Registrar
Monticello Plc - Moorgate Registrars
e-capital investments plc - Cresta ?
Baltimore Technologies plc - Capita IRG
GEO Interactive Media - I know they became Emblaze, but I don't seem to have a cert for the new company - perhaps I sold them?

So, any idea on these; or perhaps where for me to look.

Thanks

Kieron

Kieron.
I think you would do best by approaching the Registrars. I think e-capital may now be Avanti which still exists. Baltimore Tecnologies bit the dust but you should still confirm with Capita that there was nothing left over for you. You mention Cresta as a Registrar, this is probably just the building that the Registrar is in, Cresta House in Luton which is home to several Registrars. If you do not have an up to date address/telephone number for the Registar you will find a list on:-

I hope this helps.
