Exec appear to have been complacent and borrowings have increased to the point where the business is saddled with debt...I think this could be last-chance saloon now that the magic "pound" level is breached. This is heading for lower prices unless somone finds a decent postal order and a pot of Jam.
It's not one I hold...having been far too high for my liking and understanding. I presume they have little pricing-power for their mince-pies and other Euro-states are forcing down margins....pity.
Directors bought 10k-worth each @ c.1.68; but unless it's 50k apiece, I think it's token-ism and best ignored - Execs earn this amount in a couple of weeks, so it's not hurting them and if anything, I think it shows a disconnection with their shareholders, who have lost so much since this sp was 5 only 12-months ago....I don't think it was supported by a dividend, but there was some hope in turnover, I suppose.
Whoah!
- - Bargepoles... DYOR...
Directors need to fall on swords and whatever is done, it won't be quick....mince-pie orders are not for a few months, at best....oh dear.

Interesting comment (as always!) in "Shares" today - Oh )very( Dear!
A new FD is essential to promote the Co. as a going concern and I'm surprised there aren't a few willing to step-in.
Dunnyspage, don't you think this is a bounce as a few punters are hoping for a Takeover? With no FD, it looks worse than careless, although we know these circumstances do not reflect on ILF; -it's they that have the egg on face (as it were).
I don't hold this stock.
