"LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Betex Group PLC said its shares will be delisted from AIM tomorrow adding that it still has a viable business proposition and its core investments in China continue to perform in line with expectations.
The information and communications technology company said it is actively considering a number of options to preserve and grow value in the medium term."

And this from their 2008 newsletter:
"UK Operations Overview:
We continue to cut costs and overheads where possible in our efforts to reach Group operating profitability by the end of 2008.
As indicated in the Annual Report, we had agreed a sale of the UK licensed betting shops. Unfortunately the buyer pulled out and we have been forced to put the subsidiary company into liquidation. This has led to further job losses, but commercially we could not defend continuing to prop up a loss-making retail estate. Again, we would like to thank the shop staff and manager for their efforts and wish them well in the future.
We are in the process of assigning the lease at Broad Street Place and hope to complete on this by the end of February, when we will relocate to much cheaper and smaller offices in North London."
