Hello traders!

In the US tonight, the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 149.82 points to
6,875.84, the S&P500 added 16.53 points at 712.86, while the Nasdaq Composite
was up 32.73 points, or 2.5%, to 1,353.74.

Good morning traders!

In Asia today, the Nikkei was up 142.53 points at 7,433.49, while the Hang Seng
ended the morning down 46.36 points at 12,284.79.

Crude oil was down 44 cents at $44.98 a barrel on Nymex.

European banks face a US dollar funding gap of almost $2 trillion as a result of aggressive expansion around the world and may have difficulties rolling over debts, according to a report by the Bank for International Settlements.
