Good morning traders! (And goodbye September)

In the US last night, the Dow rose 143 points at 11,154, the Nasdaq fell 11 points at
2,481 and the S&P500 added 9 points at 1,160.

In Asia today, the Nikkei was recently down 39 points at 8,663, while the Hang Seng
ended the morning off 375 points at 17,636.

WTI crude oil traded at $82.72 a barrel and gold settled at $1,623 an ounce.
