In the US last night, the Dow fell a point to 15,569, the Nasdaq lost 3 points at 3,940
and the S&P500 rose 2 points to 1,762.

In Asia today, the Nikkei was recently down 39 points at 14,760 and the Hang Seng
off 29 points at 22,777.

WTI crude oil traded at $98.68 a barrel and Brent crude at $109.61.

Gold settled at $1,352 an ounce.
