Traders Thread - Thursday 12th October 2017 (TRAD)

Morning!

In the US last night, the Dow finished up 42.21 at 22,872.89 the Nasdaq up 16.30 at 6,603.55 and the S&P 500 up 4.60 at 2,555.24.

In Asia, the Nikkei was recently up 76.21 points at 20,957.34 - the Hang Seng up 101.36 at 28,491.43 - crude oil traded at $51.30 a barrel and Brent at $56.94.

Gold settled at $1,285.80 an ounce.

Trade well and prosper.

Trade what you see so I may change my mind on a sixpence, but I reckon they are going to take out the top at 7600 and then run it up to 8000 by Xmas.

Whether they need to push it down first to collect their stock is another matter.

And as for the yanks... 23k by cop tomorrow?

FTSE rises as pound weakens as Brexit talks not progressing sufficiently.

I'm sure the government will have no trouble pushing the FTSE to 8000 then ;-)
