This started about £1 early in 2018 and now Feb 2019 it's 24p - that's a massive loss, although I presume the Execs are doing nicely....
How will it fare? It depends on this idle desire to make money by letting a computer find prime numbers ( Er, Why are they valuable? Dunno ) . . . . in places like Iceland ( the country ) there are fields of sheds and inside are computers doing whatever..... all cooled by the icey temperature and powered by the gysers, presumably v.cheap electricity.
I presume OBC is doing much the same - anyone?
It has been suggested if this computation-bubble continues.... nearly half the world's energy will be used by these computers..... it won't add much (if anything) to "Global warming" - as no fossil fuel is being used . . . but the computer-heat is consuming energy. Will anyone make money - sadly , like many bubbles only the few will. It's so difficult to SELL when there is "more round the corner".

Isn't the main director Clem Chambers who also owns ADFVN from the dark side?
They are trying (unsuccessfully) to monetise the Plus1 coin OBC have written for ADVFN and some other Brazilian coin for ADVFN too.
Having said that, the Plus1 coin has some value as it's linked to Bitcoin. I'm sure Clem as done fine as he took 1.5m coins before they started getting mined and takes 30% of all coins used on advfn as the "website cut". which is part of the problem. It was never intended to make anyone money but the directors.
