Will swap it for a Sony Ericson P900 with all the bits - needs a new screen (100 fitted from any vodafone store) but is otherwise fine .

I'll swap you mine, G - it's far too big for me. :)

Iain you can probably unlock it yourself , go to connectivity , network selection and change the setting to manual if it lets you.

Then try it with a card from another network.

I just sold two brand new Samsung P510's and a brand new Samsung E700 on ebay ... unwanted upgrades.
