I am wondering if people living locally to other members would be willing to share their trading experience, demonstrate their trading set up, ets to others. I believe each of us have 'expertise' in different areas and would like to learn about other areas - e.g I have spread betting experience but am keen to learn about CFDs, options/warrants trading and would be keen to meet up with other members with those experience who are willing to demostrate their set up for trading.
I live in Pinner, N W London and do not mind travelling a radius of 15 miles or so.
Am starting this thread in the hope that others wanting or willing to demonstrate their trading setup will post here together with their locality.

Your idea is an excellent one, but I'm not sure this is the best place for the thread!

I would suggest the "Traders' Room" is more appropriate, as there are far more people trading seriously and full-time there.

I have thought for some time that there is a gap in the market for a reasonably sucessful trader to act as a mentor to a budding trader, and perhaps your thread may lead to something like that.

Teaching courses is one thing, but I would like to see someone doing it for real in the market, and making a profit!

Shammy if you can't access the Traders room, try posting on the Investment club thread.

Also maybe you should try and join one or start one, you can then try different things without risking very much of your own money - or if you are lucky, you can bring in other people with different experiences!

i have posted the same on Traders Room this morning. I am not too keen on joining/starting an investment club...just keen on live demos of trading cfds/warrants/options...i know i can get these demonstrated if i go to a seminar...but they always seem so busy and full of sales pitches...
