Well certainly got that one plus a few others mentioned in the posting of Share Magazine on my stockwatch thread, and agree that it is the medium/minnows who have been doing all the climing over the last 3 months, and was/is the sector to be in till the "gold fever"mining sector came into vogue over the last couple of weeks.....
Having held 9k in BP stock over the last 6 months and having averaged down now find myself at break even, though will be moving on as I am concerned about the ever closer tie ups with the former USSR and the potential tinder box climate in those areas of drilling.
Sure you have read the article on the front of SM but for those who have not I would recommend it, and add there is still IMHO further premiums to be had in this sector, regardless of volatilty, and I like the look of Melrose....snippet from the article below....

"Long term, oil shares are a one-way bet providing the companies have substantial reserves and/or plenty of exploration acreage. This is because demand for oil is constantly rising and will rise faster when world economic growth accelerates. Chinese demand is expected to double over the next decade.

There are insufficient oil reserves to meet increased demand, which means prices will rise long term to nearer $50 a barrel. At this price, the gigantic tar oil banks in Alaska start becoming economic, which will put a lid on prices for maybe another decade."

Regards and good luck
