whats a good reading list / course for beginers

Any suggestions (clean ones) as to good books for new kids. Looking to trade shares over period upto 18 months but pref shorter term.Not pension fund stuff or long term. Also any good courses or web based info / training sites.

Check out a user called Crocodile on the traders threads.
He does courses.
Watch the business press, Shares Mag?, for courses advertised.
You are on a pretty good web site - read the posts on here.
There are threads that cover reading/trading materials/sites etc.
You just have to wade through it all.
Pick a stock or two from the press and display the charts here and
see if you agree with what they say.
