NMT GROUP (NMT)

SUJEEVANN - 20 Oct 2003 00:12

DO YOU KNOW ANYTHING OF THE ABOVE GROUP? I HEARD THAT THEY HAVE SOMETHING LIKE 13.5 MILLION IN THE BANK AND THEIR MEDICAL EQUIPMENT BUSINESS DOING WELL POURING A LOT OF SALES .THERE IS A POSSIBILITY THAT COMPANIES SUCH AS MEDISYS AND SURGICAL INNOVATIONS WHICH DO HAVE SIMILIAR BUSINESSES WANTS TO MERGER WITH THIS COMPANY IN ORDER TO GET INTO THEIR HANDS ON THIS COMPANY'S MONEY.IF ANY SUCH MERGER TALKS COMES UP,IT IS POSSIBLE THAT MORE THAN 3 OR 4 COMPANIES WOULD BE INTERESTED TO CHASE THIS LITTLE TIDDLER WHOSE BUSINESSES IS PICKING UP(BOOMING)AND THE MONEY IS IN THE BANK FOR FUTURE GROWTH.I WOULD NOT BE SUPRISED TO SEE THIS RICH COMPANYS'S SHARE PRICE SHOTS UP TO BETWEEN 10P-12P IN NO TIME SIMILIAR TO OTHER COMPANIES SUCH AS MEDISYS ECT....

From Ribtickler on ADV

Does this refer to NMTs 1st gen syringe or the
procedure that the patient has to go through
with every injection.

Fuzeon, the revolutionary AIDS drug that attracted worldwide interest and established its creator Trimeris as a leading biotechnology companies, is running into resistance from doctors and patients.
"It's a good and durable drug," Nash said about Fuzeon. "It's the delivery method that's killing it. Until they get that under control, the stock will remain under pressure."

NMT RESPONDS TO PATENT INFRINGEMENT ACTION

New Medical Technology Group PLC ("NMT") announces that Retractable
Technologies, Inc, has filed an action for patent infringement against NMT, New
Medical Technology Ltd and its US subsidiary, New Medical Technology, Inc.

A parent patent owned by the plaintiff was among those cited by NMT when the
Company submitted its application for its needle retraction technology to the US
patent office. NMT will vigorously defend its patent position.

THIS COULD FOLD THIS MINNOW COMPANY. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

waldorfo - 21 Nov 2003 15:20 - 4 of 5

The above post is very misleading, Retractable technologies, make a habit of taking out patent infringement actions, against anyone they percieve as competition, bully boy type actions hoping to grab market share, whilst delaying the competition. NMT produced their syringe, and it wasn't until they did a huge deal with Roche that retractable brought their action, been delayed by retractable for the same reasons as above. The drug delivery system is nothing to do with NMT's syringe, packed in the Fuzeon pack. Its fuzeon powder, mixing with water, twice a day, thats time consuming and a little difficult to do correctly.
