I still can't believe the World's No 1 Mega-Power could have comedians running their FDA - who think a phone-call saying "stop" is sufficient to halt any approved trial - - it's not even as though there was some known problematic dose being administered (such as rat-poison in very small doses and there had been a mix-up at the packing plant) : but even then you'd ask the Official caller "why?" and would expect at least an outline explanation ...(alternatively:) "Oh Gee, we forgot to send you the Trial Certificate 2345 six months ago, so Officially this trial hasn't started etc etc."
Is this really the mode of (FDA)working that Drug companies have to contend with? Puts the (hoped for) American market into doubt in my opinion - or will Americans be jetting over here on Concorde - oops (some converted Boing) with the treatment in-flight? Thereby avoiding the cold-hand of the FDA?
I've used this unexpected dip to buy some more BTG - am I mad, not to wait for BTG's considered reaction/explanation? Probably, I hear you say.

The lack of (BTG management) News is worrying:- has the (US )FDA still not sorted out their paperwork? Is the delay this end? - I doubt that, as BTG seem to be pretty open, to date. If new trials are demanded, BTG may have to rethink the launch in USA.
It's wait and see.
I've sold my punt as the price has slipped back - no-news is bad news IMHO and any news is going to spell d-e-l-a-y whatever the status of the trial-data collected so far. Let's hope the data can be used.
Since this share is "news-driven" my guess we shall see a dip below 150p before things (again) get interesting. I remain a long-term holder; but I'm playing the news as well.
BTG needs to deliver PDQ, some Sparkling Good News.
For, as soon as puners feel Xmas seasonal, ( only 5 weeks away!) their thoughts will turn to Christmas-Present and not varicose vein treatments. Expect trading volumes to decline until something triggers in the New Year.
