What do you do?

bingobingham - 19 Nov 2003 08:23

I've been using Moneyam for the last few months now, and I suppose I am relatively unexperienced when it comes to trading. About 3 years to be precise.

It seems to me like a great number of people who regularly visit this site have a great wealth of experience. At least that's how it appears anyway.

I was just wondering whether or not many of you trade for a living or whether you have to work full time like myself, making it very difficult to do sufficient research.

What do you do for a living. Please excuse me if that's too personal!

I trade for a living.
Time for sufficient research?
I suggest you Start by focusing on 3 shares and get to know EVERYTHING about
the Company for the last 14 months.

I work for a living. I focus on six shares [just suits me] As above but not just the company but the sectors, national and international and outside influences ie. weather, politics. Thats what I do and still struggle.

PS. I still struggle and cant give up my day job. I have to get my head round learning to short the market. I have been interested for 6 years.
