Took me a while to find this thread - but arjen, suggest you explain what this thread is for - because I don't think its very clear.

Member firm codes provides a complete list of all member firm codes.

Regulation Briefings - contains information on a number of regulatory issues. Intended audience - member firms.

Global lending agreement contains the prescribed agreement for on-exchange stock borrowing and lending transactions. Intended audience -member firms and market professionals.

Making a complaint explains what to do if you have a complaint and how to make it. Intended audience - private investors.

List of Member Firms provides both an alphabetical and a regional list of member firms of the London Stock Exchange. Intended audience - member firms, market professionals and private investors.

The Dividend procedure timetable 2003 (PDF 96KB) is available to assist company secretaries and advisers in determining dividend dates for the year 2003. The Dividend procedure timetable 2004 (PDF 73KB) is also available.

As I said on the concise thread - I don't understand the concise posts.

Your "facts" aren't very clear to me, because the govt does not regulate the London Stock Exchange. The London Stock Exchange only regulates dealing in shares and nothing else. The London Stock Exchange is regulated by the FSA.

The govt doesn't even regulate the Bank of England.

I suggest YOU find where the origins of e.g. these words came from :-

e.g.Wiggins shows how City rules and the corporate governance industry waste
Directors time,disadvantage private investors and yet cost them money.

...in line with City rules,yet private shareholders can NOT get information :
for reasons of corporate governance.

City .. private investors are left groping in a fog.

It's very difficult to find origins of e.g. these words came from:- if you don't make what you are trying to say clear.

You keep using the word fact without actually providing the facts.

That Ajren says that Institutions - ref Edmond Jackson and a specific government regulation - MUST know more financial information BEFORE any private investors/stockbrokers and can they give me details of the regulation?

The price would have never gone up to over 4p if the institutions had know before Private Investors - I'm not even sure what they are supposed to know - because yet again like everything else - you did not make that clear either............
