Holdin in Company--what does it mean?

Pleas can someone explain what Holdin in Company means--thanks

Percentage of shares in company held by named party. Usually has to be declared when (I think) when more than 3% held. Can exclude holdings of Market Makers except in takeover situations. Full data should be available on the Stock Exchange site I think.
