I bought these at 42p and they were up to c 72p at one stage - I have been very patient with these but I've alomost all the profit I once had - Is anyone else out there holding these and who knows anything about current situation?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Don't panic! and don't sell. The share price performance has been v disappointing over recent weeks. Not helped by 3m share placing in June at 50p. Share price has been falling on minimal volumes and not on bad news. In fact the news flow has been pretty good, although all rather "jam tomorrow".
CBM's 31% share in Asia Energy (AEN) alone is worth about 8m, ie more than half CBM's current market cap. AEN was tipped in IC a couple of weeks back. Lots of other irons in the fire.
Probably not one for a quick punt, but if you can afford to tuck them away for a couple of years the potential upside is enormous. COuld be worth 5 in a few years IMHO - DYOR etc.
There is a lot of useful info on Cambrian's website, plus some good posts on the CBM thread on ADVFN.

Hi Beaufort1
Thanks for that - much appreciated. Unfortunately I needed some cash so sold 50% of holding but will retain other 50% medium to long term.

AEN is now 83.5%, so CBM's 27% stake is worth 8.48m. (AEN goes up, CBM goes down!)
CBM's 52% stake in Western Canadian Corp is worth 13.7m at the current price of C$1.55.
Therefore, leaving out its investments Subranum, AGD, Pageton Coal and Ivernia West, CBM has listed shareholdings worth 22.18m.
At the current share price of 41.5p, CBM's market cap is 18.65m!!!

CBM is now 59p and rising! Up 42% from its low in August. The Deepgreen takeover has been approved, WCC is set to float on AIM shortly, and all looks set fair.
Hope you did not sell out entirely Gildph.
