Hi Cindaara, Yes, this one has been very painful for me and others as well. I bought in at 3p 8 months ago.
I'd be interested to know where & how you were recommended IAL and why they were judged to be a money spinner ?
It's difficult to say what will happen. I remain fairly positive that something good will happen on this shortly. Results and merger news should be released soon, in the next couple of weeks/month.
The price went down again by another 1/4p and could still go down a little bit more. However, I'm hanging on as, IMHO, I dont think I'm going to lose out in the end. Good recovery play... :)
There are though, other companies that I think will certainly do well in the next month or two... ie.. CWV, WTG, ZIM, ERX, VTB, ITU, ARC. If you're concerned about IAL, (It is highly risky at the moment), you may want to look at these other shares (DYOR)
Also, plse see other threads for this company that will shed more light on current situation and peeps views.. Whatever you do ... good luck.. :)

Has anyone contacted IAL or BBB to ask when there will be merger news or financial news released ?

Does the following friday news have any effect ?
A well known financial advice firm, Berry Birch & Noble Financial Services, has been put into liquidation because of the pressure of mis-selling claims over endowment and pension policies.
The firm is thought to have had 41,000 customers.
The move has sent a ripple of indignation across the financial advice industry because the parent company, Berkeley Berry Birch, continues to trade, and has transferred clients and 50 advisers to a new subsidiary, Berry Birch & Noble Financial Planning.

The news was out before Friday. I suggest any effect has already taken place
