who`s first to use the money am boards.

A load of us were invited to beta test in November/December 2002. Before that apart from MoneyAM and IST I believe just Haystack got a sneak preview, perhaps one or two others.

I was a beta tester in pre launch days.

when did this site come to air,,any one no.

One of the oldest threads still in use is the "Please Report Bugs and Enhancements" thread on the Traders' BB started by Andy Lovell, IST's Engineering Director on 04 Nov 2002.

The site went live publicly on Thursday 23rd January 2003. A Thursday was picked as that is Shares magazine publication day.

Before that, as Kayak mentioned, various IST people including myself were using it in October 2002, most of which usage was simply internal testing so doesn't really count.

You are correct -- that (yours) was the first Investors' Room thread -- however Andy Lovell's Bugs and Enhancements thread in the Traders' Room remains the first thread.

All those Andys -- must be somethng to do with alphabetic order . . .

I think my Andy userid actually used to belong to him, there was some confusion when i first obtained it!

I think that we cleared out all the test threads when the site went into Beta and Andy Lovell put the Bugs thread up first as we did it.

Bullshare posted a whole bunch of kickoff threads as well at the public launch, as I recall.

And you may may be right about the userid -- 'our' Andy probably deferred to you for that.
