another complaint

angi - 10 Sep 2004 10:55

I am sick of writing to report errors on moneyam but add that this morning you have ISIS rising 16.85% on your front page and on my own stockwatch it's up only half that. Moneyam is so unreliable that I always check the indeces on another sight.

I no longer read Shares, but paid my annual subscription in order to access moneyam. I now cannot trust websight.

Moving between pages is like watching paint dry and before you ask me to check my settings and suggest using broadband, I visit other sights with no problem at all. I enter Sharecrazy sight instantly and move between pages instantly.

i find moneyam first class...with very speedy movement between the pages.

i also subscribe to MARKET EYE which costs me 1200 a year ...mainly because it gives me very ready access to real time share prices and also my portfolio of shares is in a format which i like

i am delighted with the splended array of information from moneyam....and the access to archive data

perhaps moneyam could remind me of the cost of their web service i.e. the cost over and above what i would be paying for the SHARES magazine.

incidently IAIN at SHARES is also very prompt and helpful

angi,

Thank you for your feedback and please accept my sincere apologies for these issues. I will get our technical team to look into the ISIS problem you have reported.

With regard to the indices - again I understand your frustrations, and we have been working to resolve this problem - we are nearing a fix on this which should hopefully be in place early next week.

There have been no reported problems with the site this morning with regard to slowness - if you could give me some specific examples of the pages that are appearing slow or let me know if it is a site wide problem at your end, I can look into this further for you.

Once again please accept my apologies,

Ian

EDIT - Sorry Angi, I was mistaken when looking at this - you are correct and there does appear to be a problem here with ISIS - we are taking a look at it now, and I will get back to you as soon as possible. The figure on stockwatch should be taken as the correct one.

Ian
