Aerospace systems and components group, Meggitt, which recently bought Dunlop Standard Aerospace Group's design and manufacturing unit for 408.4m, announces its interim results today. The acquisition is expected to be significantly earnings enhancing in its first full year of ownership but is not going to help today's number which will likely show a drop in pretax profit of around 10%, largely because of currency issues.
Cairn Energy looks like being bound for the FTSE100 and reports interims today. Followers will be interested to hear news of oil finds in India.
According to the press, Hays, the business services company, is set to reveal
a 7% drop in full-year profit this morning, after it sold two of its four business units. Analysts reckon the bright outlook will more than compensate.
