We have decided this year to have an afternoon and evening get together.
Starting at about 3pm we have booked the GoKart track at Burscough ( Nr Ormskirk) this will finish at about 5.30pm and then we are to have an evening meal at the Wayfarer Country Pub set in the picturesque village of Parbold, which is 15mins from the Go-Karts.

GOKARTS - The last time we met at the GoKart track it was a roaring success. There will be a 5 lap practice, then 10 lap qualifying, and then a 15 lap final.
The cost of the Karting is 25, even if you don't fancy taking part it is well worth watching.



WAYFARER EVENING MEAL - The meal is booked for 7.30pm with a large choice of menu at a cost of 21.

Can you please indicate your menu choice from the following.

STARTERS:

1. Tomato & Basil Soup with pesto croutons & Cream swirl

2. Melon Platter ( selection of exotic fruit & lemon sorbet)

3. Smoked Salmon & Prawn Coronets with cream cheese and chive

4. Strips of Hot Chicken Satay with chilli dip & salad

5. Grilled Open Cup Mushrooms with bacon and topped with cheese

MAIN COURSE:

1. Roast Local Turkey with traditional trimmings

2. Lemon Sole Fillets dressed with white wine and cream sauce

3. Grilled Sirloin Steak with creamy wild mushroom sauce

4. Braised Lamb Henry cooked with rosemary served with red wine gravy

5. Oriental Stir-Fry Vegetables with noodles and Thai crackers

Desserts:

1. Christmas Pudding with a rich brandy cream sauce

2. Hot Chocolate Brownie with hot fudge sauce & rum & raisin ice cream

3. Glazed Lemon Tart with seasonal fruit & ice cream

4. Bailey's Cream Cheesecake with chocolate dusting & whipped cream

5. Selection of cheeses with grapes apples, celery & biscuits
