I'm really not sure bout this one, I cant work out what's going on with the big investors. Been loads of changes in holdings, most increasing from what I can see. Hopefully all good. Any thoughts

Has anybody else had problems trying to sell MT.L this morning 1/4/05? What is everybody else planning to do with MT.L now? Any thoughts?

got a letter from Barclays. They say for 'each ordinarty share of 10p that you hold will be reclassified and subdivided into one new 'A' ordinary sare of 1p and one deferred share of 9p' if you hold MT shares at close of business on 31/3/05. Thje deferred shares will not be listed......, making them effectively valueless.
If you hold the 'A' shares at close of business on 8th July 2005 every 30 new shares of 1p will be consolidated in one new share of 30p. It says your holding should be worth more or less the same as before subject to market conditions.
I don't know if it is possible to sell MT shares before July (I assume it is), but I noted also that RBS got rid of quite a few this morning.
