Could this be another Takerover (CFE)

scenicroute - 10 Feb 2005 18:01

Its wierd.Coffee Republic goes quiet for days on end, and then boom out of the blue,it shoots up 10% for no obvious reason, trading more than 11,000,000 shares in 28 transactions.

I was just wondering whether there could perhaps be another TAKEOVER bid looming. Well Its definitely the year for it.

Any other reasons for the share price climb? I look forward to reading your views....

CR is a turn around story. I believe management is wise by laying low while numbers improve. I regularly visit several locations and they are always busy. They still serve one of the best cups of coffee. I believe with a little improvement in the bottom line this is a 2p share. CR need to show growth to achieve a per store market value like Nero which stands at 459K per store which puts a 4p per share on CR.

Gooday to all investors of Coffee Republic

I've just spent 2 fantastic days sight seeing in London with my wife.

Naturally as an investor in this company I was quite keen on seeing a Republic Deli outlet in action. Sad I know but it was the first time I had seen the business in action. So we caught the tube to the so called Square mile. We got off at Liverpool Street and made our way to EXCHANGE SQUARE. There it was staring us in the face. I must admit the Republic Deli shop was just as busy as any trading floor in the world.

They were clearly having problems serving the Toffs from the City since it was so busy. But I was Excited. This business was being exposed to people that matter. The food was a little overpriced, but hey theres demand for it, so why not take advantage. My wife was all weak at the knees and blushing. I thought to myself she knows I've got it right, and the rewards would perhaps start to show in the share price some time soon. Well darling what do you think. Their gorgeous, "WHO's Gorgeous", we were on two different planets and I later discovered she was talking about the City slickers munching on thier Freshly made sandwiches.

I asked for her honest opinion on the business. She was Truthful. This business now needs exposure. London had its place, but the business would do even better in other parts of the country. She simply said If its too busy here you can always go to the one next door. By this she meant there were too many businesses like this one competing against each other in London and perhaps Republic Deli would benefit from setting up shop in other Towns and Cities where competition wasnt so great.

The Idea is working, Its evident. So lets expand to other places and rake in the real money.

See you soon?
