In the US tonight, the Dow rose a modest 10 points to 11,278.77. The Nasdaq Composite rose 14.74 points to 2,370.88 and the S&P500 gained 2.28 points at 1,309.93.

Good morning traders!

In Asia today, the Nikkei was up 1.58 points at 17,351.70 at the midpoint, while the Hang Seng weakened on profit-taking, down 26.64 points at 16,803.80 at the last call.

New York's main oil contract, light sweet crude for May delivery, was down 6 cents at $72.11 a barrel from its close of $72.17 in US trading overnight.

DOCTORS
A woman in her 90's is distraught after the death of her warm,
caring, faithful husband of seventy years.

She can't live without him and decides that the best way to do
herself in is to stab herself in her pitifully broken heart.

Still, she doesn't want to linger so she calls a doctor
to find out exactly where the heart is.

He tells her to put her first two fingers together,
hold them horizontally and place the tip of the
first finger just below her left nipple.

The heart, he says, is immediately below the first
knuckle on her second finger.

Later that day, the doctor is called to the emergency room
to put fourteen stitches in the elderly woman's left thigh.
