Hello traders!

Having just watched Middlesbro' come back from the dead to win their UEFA cup game....again.... I'm not sure what is real any more... Great game!

In the US tonight, the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed off its highs of the day but gained 28.02 points at 11,382.51. The Nasdaq Composite climbed 11.32 points to 2,344.95 while the S&P500 added 4.31 points to 1,309.72.

Don't forget the market is closed for May Bank Holiday on Monday. These long weekends always distort things.

Good morning traders!

In Asia today, the Hang Seng ended the morning down 213.06 points at 16,529.79, while the Nikkei reached the halfway stage down 295.57 points at 16,818.97.

New York's main oil contract, light sweet crude for delivery in June, was down 27 cents at $70.70 a barrel from $70.97 in US trading overnight where it lost 96 cents.
