OK temporary accomodation for us ex-pats of Spacie's coffee house that is sadly now boarded up and in memory of Goldie's old pad the tearooms.

No fancy stuff, as this is temporary until we find a nice new place but it's warm down here with the fire and aga and I've organised a daily guinness, lager and wine delivery. There is a small kitchen in the corner and a few comfy cosy armchairs.

So feel free to take refuge when you need a break - self-service generally I'm afraid but when I can I'll rustle up a meal :>)

Any cooked breakfasts Bunny? Morning Helen, you must be from the other side....do you like Guinness :-))

Sorry we've been on self-service whilst I've been out getting supplies for tomorrow in the warren. Hope you all have got everything by now.

Spacie there's a bar stool with your name on it, always welcome in here as for the hammocks we're trying an experiment without them - bet it doesn't last long LOL

Buffet lunch people today to celebrate the New Year coming in tomorrow, so help yourselves to cold meats, cheeses, salmon, salad and the usual buffet suspects like sausage rolls, scotch eggs, cheese and pineapple bits, mini quiches etc.
Just try not to drink Ireland dry of all its guinness! LOL

Is it time to have a Guinness now? I'm not feeling very well (back end of fluey thing), perhaps it will make me feel better.

Enjoy the fireworks Spacie, we'll catch up in 12 hours! My 2 youngest daughters are a further 5 hours behind, one in New York, the other in Jamaica. This New Year thing lasts a long time.

Well we made it its 2009 !!!

Just watched the fireworks on TV as usual Sydney did them brilliantly, we are about 5kms from the harbour Briodge and could hear and feel them !!!

The friends we are staying with had an invite to the Lord Mayors party at the Opera House so they would have had a fantastic view.

Yes, a spectacular show as usual. Didn't see the end; Sky lost the signal. Saw the first 10 or so minutes though.

-4c here, but the sun is shining so I'm off for a walk by the river Clwyd to build up an appetite for tonight. Champagne's in the fridge, though in these temperatures I could just pop outside for a few minutes!
