Well Utilitiesplus I see it as a fantastic growth company and a long term hold.
You might be interested to see this lifted from Robbie Burns site the Frequenttrader.........................
Star of the day though is Telecom Plus which is soaring higher as I write. It looks like it is going to break through previous highs soon on its way to 350p.
An interesting e-mail regarding the head man at Telecom Plus, Sir Charles Widoger from a reader. He spotted Sir Charles has set up directorships in dormant companies including Credit Card Plus, Petrol Plus, Car Plus, Air Plus, Water Plus, Insurance Plus among many others.
This is interesting as it shows where the company could be heading in the future - I can see credit cards and water provision, car rental looks possible and house insurance but I'm not sure how he is going to sell air!
He is a great businessman and it looks like he is going to try and supply everything you'd normally pay for at home. Now imagine what all these services to come will do to the company's share price.. on top of that, those becoming distributors now could find they are getting in at an excellent time! ENDS.
Very interesting indeed and shows just how much growth the CEO could get out of this gem of a company. Think I will add now.
cheers.

As per little womans observations. Sorry guys, didnt mean to steal any bodys thunder.
Well if this isnt forward thinking and first class management I dont know what is. Just look at this statement taken from Robbie Burns site The Frequentttrader, posted late last week..............

Well we can see from this which way the company is going and for those of you who think it might be too late to get in think again, heres the last trading update from the company and dont forget just over 20 days to results, which should show the Forward P/E to be very underdemanding indeed..........

Shares For A Bull Run 21/10/2003
Market Comment
By Maynard Paton
These days, every man and his brother is a 'value' investor. No surprise really, since the bear market has unmasked numerous 'growth' share charlatans. Plodding smokestack businesses with their reliable dividends are now the way forward. Or are they?
Trouble is, us punters too often invest through the rear-view mirror. The time for high dividend shares was 1999 -- prior to the bear -- not 2003. So, looking forward to the emergence of a new bull market, surely now must be the time to return to growth shares.
As noted before, tomorrow's bull market leaders will be small, growing companies that are too young and too obscure to have upset a crowd of investors during the previous market downturn. With no history of disappointment to hold them back, investors will soon appreciate these new stock market 'stories', especially if a castle in the air can be constructed.
With that in mind, Telecom Plus could well be a future bull market champ. Floated in July 2000 at 200p, its shares now trade at 325p -- somewhat amazing given the company's activity: supplying telephony services to small and medium-sized businesses. Today, Telecom Plus said its full-year profits would be 'significantly ahead of expectations'. What were those expectations? Earnings growth of 25% this year and 35% next.
Corin should also do well in a bull run. It develops and manufactures a wide range of reconstructive orthopaedic devices and floated at 111p during May 2002. Corin's latest annual results showed sales up 23%, profits up 62% and operating margins of 18%. With 'considerable' opportunities for 2003, brokers anticipate profit growth of 44% this year and 24% in 2004.
Finally, Sondex (LSE: SDX.L - news) is another growth business without bear market baggage. Having floated at 100p just three months ago though, the developer of oil well inspection devices has yet to publish any results in listed form. Still, over the past four years, operating margins of 27%-plus have been recorded, while sales and profits have experienced average annual growth of about 25%. 'Increasing demand' and lower interest payments are set to boost this year's earnings per share by 170%. Growth of 19% is expected in 2004.

UP, certainly do. The biggest mistake a lot of investors make is not letting profits run. This company could easily double and more.

UT, they've heard you and me are in it. No seriously I just think that investors have come out to play after the interest rate fears and a lot would have had ever increasing 'watch lists' especially in this ones case after the news about the ceo buying up other utility type companies on the cheap.
Top bombing. Should go on now from here.
cheers gf.
