Solar Integrated Technologies (SIT)

tallsiii - 07 Apr 2005 13:46

Has anyone got in on this one? It looks like a good prospect.

It is a rapidly expanding alternative energy company that should do well as energy prices rise with the current shortage of fossil fuels.

Cynic, what is your thoughts on this stock in the very short term....

cynic - 24 Jan 2007 17:44 - 21 of 27

none really ..... i suspect it has already gone up too far too fast; i suspect if/when it hits 200 dma it will falter ...... as you have seen today, sp is very volatile ranging between 59 and 76 with a wide 5p spread ...... personally i shall not be buying, at least not in the immediate future

*Solar Integrated Technologies, the California solar roofing group, rose sharply yesterday on hopes that it could benefit from Wal-Mart's plan to convert many of its 6,000-plus stores to run on renewable energy. The world's largest retailer has asked for proposals from suppliers who can provide the technology. Having last week won a contract to fit a solar roof to Tesco's new US distribution centre in California, dealers said Solar Integrated was a front runner for the Wal-Mart contract. Solar Integrated shares have begun to recover after falling sharply last year amid worries over its financial health. These concerns eased last month with a 10m fundraising. Solar Integrated rose 24.4 per cent to 76p.
