ASOS: BUY AT LOW PRICE!!!! (ASC)

wilco99 - 12 Sep 2003 15:52

ASOS have dropped quite significantly in the past week for no particular reason and I view this as the perfect opportunity to invest as I can see them bouncing right back up to the 5.50p mark in the next 2-3 weeks. STRONG BUY!!

I too have watched and waited---I'm very jealous of you lucky punters!! Is it too late to join the fun? I thought they would drop back but it just isn't happening!

AdieH - 24 Jul 2004 12:38 - 201 of 5941

Got in at 65p, think as the broker says 1.00 target price...

Kivver - 25 Jul 2004 11:46 - 202 of 5941

After following this share after being tipped at 7p i thought i had missed the boat and bought finally at 40p and it is still going. Reminds of TelecomPlus about a year ago which just kept going up and up for the whole year. You keep saying to yourself it cannot go any higher but it does. I am worried about this poor summer having an affect on summer trading. If it gets through the 70p barrier it could go all the way.

Interesting that PE will be about 30 if SP's projected figs are correct. IMHO the PE is not too relevant where you have got such a fast growth story. Infact a PE of 30 sounds quite comforting to me and I am sure it will go much higher as share price rises. Brokers are usually fairly conservative with projections, and for me 100p is conservative on a 12 month basis. I'll stick my neck out...100p by the end of the year (but don't come looking for me if I'm wrong!!)

>> legend - good to hear from you again, I'll check out TES.

Why have i always got 'edit' written next to my name? i thanks now i see. seems a bit pointless being able to edit it after you have posted it, but i am sure it will come in handy one day.

I was going to ask that question too Kivver!!! It's a shame that you can't read what you have put!!

Hi Gallick, please do check it out, I put it about 4-5 times where it is now... just like I thought ASOS would be at 7p.

So then guys, is it worth getting back into these??? I keep expecting them to drop back a bit, but they keep going up and up.

Kivver - 26 Jul 2004 14:19 - 212 of 5941

Cheers Ian, that could come in handy. eg you could say a share is going to double in price, if it halves in price you could go back and change it to the correct position. lol.

Legend how far do you expect asc to go from here, broker says a pound.

cobras - 26 Jul 2004 16:16 - 213 of 5941

WOODIE - 26 Jul 2004 16:26 - 214 of 5941

woodies back after a few days break, nice to hear from legend.see my candle chart early post ,when you see 3 red candles time to think about getting out.pe on this type of growth story is pointless.going into usa if this takes of pe sky is the limit.cheers woodie

ateeq180 - 26 Jul 2004 16:35 - 215 of 5941

What are you saying WOODIE is it time to take profit or there is more to come.any way i have followed this since it was 38p,and thats thanks to woodies comments, more will be appreciated.thanks woodie.

legend290782 - 26 Jul 2004 17:03 - 216 of 5941

I really think it is overvalued at the moment, but the price of a share is only what a market makes it. A brand name (because of its intangiability) is so hard to value, but I know this much, a lot of the people I used to go to uni with shop on ASOS on a regular basis. It is getting a lot of good publicity and it is starting to raise cash... it will be interesting to see where it goes from here.

capa - 26 Jul 2004 17:08 - 217 of 5941

What you have to realise is this is an internet retailer that makes money, this was the holy grail a few years ago and here we have a company that has achieved it and is growing at a phenominal rate. Compare ASC to Last Minute.Com and tell me which is the most overpriced.

WOODIE - 26 Jul 2004 18:31 - 218 of 5941

at thanks for comment at the moment iam not considering taking profits,my post no121 stated it is overvalued on current earnings but the market is forward looking, the growth story for this share over the neaxt 12 months should be one of the best in the market ie usa, europe taking orders from asos.there are also new products which will be good for the top and bottom line.the chart post 141 updates daily this will be a guide when the stock turns bearish,if you look from when the uptrend started there has not been 3 days of declines of any note keep watching the chart.hope this helps cheers woodie.

Kivver - 27 Jul 2004 08:48 - 219 of 5941

come on asc holders, no need to sell. Hold your nerve. The futures bright, the futures asos.
