AFX reports that Citigroup are to step up its price target to 195 pence and reiterate its 'buy' stance, and also increased its 2005 revenue forecast to 140 mln stg from 132 mln, and its 2006 prediction to 189 mln from 180 mln.

And apparently Cazenove repeated its 'outperform' recommendation on Wolfson.

cheers GF.

Cirrus Logic and Wolfson Microelectronics Settle Litigation

Edinburgh, Scotland - 24 March 2005: Cirrus Logic Inc. (NASDAQ: CRUS) and
Wolfson Microelectronics plc (LSE: WLF.L) today announce that they have settled
all outstanding litigation between the Companies.

In October 2003, Cirrus Logic brought suit against Wolfson Microelectronics plc
and its subsidiary Wolfson Microelectronics, Inc. in the U.S. District Court in
San Diego for patent infringement. Cirrus Logic subsequently initiated an
investigation by the United States International Trade Commission (ITC), which
terminated in February 2005.

Under a settlement agreement, the parties have agreed to withdraw all
outstanding claims and counterclaims in the US District Court proceedings. An
application is being made to the ITC for the withdrawal of the exclusion order
that the ITC issued in February 2005 in relation to one of the Cirrus Logic
patents.

WOLFSON Microelectronics looks to have saved itself more than $1 million (520,000) after finally settling its long-standing patent dispute with US-based Cirrus Logic.

The Edinburgh-based chipmaker confirmed yesterday that both parties had agreed to withdraw all outstanding claims and counterclaims in the US District Court proceedings, but declined to reveal the terms of the agreement.

It is, however, understood that no compensation is to be paid to either party. It also means Wolfson will no longer have to stump up millions of pounds in legal costs.

At the time of its full year results last month, chief executive David Milne said legal costs during 2004 had run to a greater-than-expected $4.1m. He also told analysts that Wolfson was expecting to fork out another $2m this year.

With yesterdays settlement, Wolfson will instead be able to pocket the remainder of the funds that had been earmarked for the litigation - thought to be in the region of at least $1m.

The lawsuit, which has cost Wolfson more than $5m, was originally filed by Cirrus in October 2003. It referred to two patents which the Texas-based company claimed Wolfson had infringed.
