Hello JGP. How are you? And where's that Sweaty Old Socs tonight with my glass of White Zinfandel? A girl could die of thirst in this joint.

Socrates - 03 Sep 2003 18:03 - 2005 of 23498

What's all this racket, suddenly the place is full up. Where has everyone been for the last few days?

Vasey
DYS is doing rather well isn't it. I'm just as pleased with MEG, that's doing very nicely thank you. I saw you target on the other BB and can't disagree, only question is what happens when it gets there?

Hilary
What's with this sweaty Old Socs, I'll have you know I don't sweat and my socks are the cleanest in Cheltenham. Zinfandel! I thought you liked good wines?

Good evening Jeff and Jeff.

hilary - 03 Sep 2003 18:15 - 2006 of 23498

Are you going to tell me that Zinfandel is too common for this joint??!!?? I do like classy wines, but a glass of Zinfandel on the rocks does slide down very, very smoothly indeed.

Btw, who are MEG?

;-)

TTFN. Download done and Moosehead Futures updated so I'll see you tomorrow.

PS. Jeffmack. Thomas says that he wouldn't want you as a half-brother 'cause you're a Millwall supporter.

:-)

This_is_me - 03 Sep 2003 18:29 - 2007 of 23498

I'm sure there are witty comments about Jeff and his enlargements, but I can't think of one - perhaps something to do with Millwall or horses. Someone pour Me a large coffee with plenty of sugar to get Me brain working.

Competition!
I will donate a prize of free food and drink for a day in the tea room to the best one.

Socrates - 03 Sep 2003 19:26 - 2008 of 23498

hilary - 04 Sep 2003 18:17 - 2018 of 23498

Good evening Socs old bean. I see that your Mice have retraced a touch today ...... nothing to worry about yet though, imo. I do vaguely recall talking to you about them. What did I suggest that you did at the time?

:-)

PS. Have you got my address for the commission cheque?

PPS. To Jeffmack. Have you stopped whingeing about Ashtead yet?

PPPS. To HT. Happy Birthday.

PPPPS. Where's my glass of White Zinfandel?

Socrates - 04 Sep 2003 18:52 - 2019 of 23498

Hilary
I asked if you agreed with my opinion that the time was not right to buy, testing my interpretation of the charts, and you did. I bought about three weeks later. Poor old 'slater' had bought 100,000 when I asked you, and then announced he sold the day I bought. He dropped around 10p per share. I felt terribly smug about it but he just got the timing wrong, his thoughts about the value were spot on.

You don't say much about your trades these days, are you just playing your cards close to your chest or are you out of the market?

Oh, and here's a barrel of cool White Zinfandel!

jgp212 - 04 Sep 2003 19:16 - 2020 of 23498

Good Evening All!!

My Mobile No is 07855 272099

Fancy a chat?

Jeff

This_is_me - 04 Sep 2003 19:24 - 2021 of 23498

Who is whinging about that great company AHT? Me bought a large block after they passed 15p yesterday. Looking good to make serious money over the next few months.

Even after today Me can afford a poney for HT's birthday present!

hilary - 04 Sep 2003 19:26 - 2022 of 23498

Socs,

Indeed. I do recall exactly your Mice ...... I was just pulling your leg. And I do mention my positions but only in the Kama Sutra and the Traders Thread on the pbb. I'm currently about 90% invested (up from about 60% a few days ago). am have got a free offer of L2 plus their Premium services for a week. Why don't you take advantage of it?

Now about that Zinfandel .........

MightyMicro - 04 Sep 2003 19:45 - 2023 of 23498

White Zin? Puhleeazze! What you want is Zinfandel from Ridge Vineyards, high in the hills (Hils - geddit?!?) above Palo Alto. Wonderful stuff.
