Haven't got a clue what you're all talking about. Another thick Yorkshireman! Seems upbeat though. Hope you're right.

bosley - 19 Sep 2006 23:51 - 20047 of 27111

WOODIE - 20 Sep 2006 06:22 - 20049 of 27111

maestro bit of info a spreadbet being closed want have any effect on the share prece as you do not have to go to the market to purchase the shares,if you were told a cfd then you would be right.

hewittalan6 - 20 Sep 2006 08:33 - 20050 of 27111

99% certain this is completely irrelevent.
Just sent an e-mail to investor relations and got an automated reply from Robert Duggan, to say he was on leave until today. Not interesting.
I also got an automated reply from Sylvia Leavey to say she was out of the office until next Monday. Not on leave. Just out of the office.
Isn't the WM SVN conference this week?
As I say, probably co-incidental, and I may even have my dates wrong, but it may be she is in the US with the others. Surely thats not the place for investor relations?

She's on a "jolly" Alan....at our expence!

dawall - 20 Sep 2006 08:47 - 20052 of 27111

Hi hewittalan
Sylvia is on leave, or at least that is what I was told, when I spoke to some one last week in attempting to get some answers to questions. It was a pretty poor response all round but one comment in their reply was that "Wal-Mart are more interested in biodegradable products, as opposed to Stanelcos Greenseal product". Also the person who responded to my questions (via their investor relations) did not seem to have heard or be aware of the rumours around ASDA and RF salad packing, or at least that is what they claimed.

Hi Guys,
Just called investor relations and was told she was holiday, so the 99% bit was right. :-)))
Investor relations told me very little except that Asda were interested in a whole range of SEO stuff, not just the bits we know of.
Basically it was a jumble of the old RNS repeated very slowly to me.

Leaping to conclusions...........apologies all.
Spotted fire where there wasn't even smoke!!
dawall,
The WM bit is interesting because my imaginary friend said something very similar to me weeks and weeks ago about Asda. I did report it on here at the time, but it is interesting that you are hearing the same with reference to WM.
Thing is, Biodegradable packaging needs sealing and to do away with the PE layer or glue or other sealing materials, something like GS is needed. Traditional machines will not do it.

heard a Sainsbury's rumour...more to folllow

Oilywag - 20 Sep 2006 12:32 - 20056 of 27111

maestro

You cannot or, should I say, you should not make posts like that.

If you've heard a rumour and you cannot verify the accuracy of the details, then please do not post anything about it until such time that you can.

If I sound as though I am lecturing, I apologise, but you get my point.

cynic - 20 Sep 2006 12:34 - 20057 of 27111

rumours cannot have their content verified or they would be fact not rumour!
