THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

I bet your household loves it when you go and clean your car.lol

TANKER - 14 Jan 2013 12:37 - 20052 of 81564

poland must be a lousy place to want too leave to clean cars
poland must be a shit hole

cynic - 14 Jan 2013 12:43 - 20053 of 81564

why should i enjoy washing my car, and more than DIY - another thing i avoid i all costs ...... it happens that i'm a tart and drive a car that is very much in keeping with that image

oh and by the way, i did NOT say that brits on the dole are lazy - i know how very very difficult it is for people of any age to find a job, even if decently qualified ...... what i DID say was that, after a given period, those on the dole should be obligated to work at socially valuable tasks (there are many that would so qualify) to continue entitlement to unemployment benefit

skinny - 14 Jan 2013 12:50 - 20054 of 81564

I suggest the removal of fuel method!

cynic - 14 Jan 2013 12:53 - 20055 of 81564

your summation of poland is almost certainly inaccurate, but irrelevant anyway ..... if the guys can come over here and find or create jobs, then surely even your "goldfish brain" must acknowledge that they then add to uk wealth, even if only in a minuscule way

so what's your pathetic whine now?

TANKER - 14 Jan 2013 12:56 - 20056 of 81564

cynic my son is a builder but i like to do all my own DIY and get great pleasure even 65 love to do it all . and also do the same for my friend next door who can not but would love too but he is ill

Davai - 14 Jan 2013 13:05 - 20057 of 81564

Had a Polish chippie worked on one of my renovations a few years back. He had a fulltime job during the week and came and worked 3/4 hours in the evenings for me. Went on for weeks. Fantastic worker, great craftsmanship too, better than most i had seen. They are great people. Very hard working...

My gripe earlier wasn't about them or any race for that matter, just that the sheer number of foreigners working over here and sending money home, must have an effect on out overall economy...

"My gripe earlier wasn't about them or any race for that matter, just that the sheer number of foreigners working over here and sending money home, must have an effect on out overall economy..."

========

Not sure!

Could be a beneficial effect, depends how, where and what the exported "cash" is utilised for.

Depends on the margins!

Circles around and within circles.

TANKER - 14 Jan 2013 13:16 - 20059 of 81564

so what happens to the uk next year when millions of migrants form romania and bulgaria start to come
the NHS will be bankrupt then what war

Chris Carson - 14 Jan 2013 13:19 - 20060 of 81564

pissed again?

cynic - 14 Jan 2013 13:24 - 20061 of 81564

so now you're changing tack as your previous tripe had to traction or anything else!
and how many "millions" of immigrants are you forecasting?

please also tell us poor uneducated and unwashed in the minimum of words, the rules governing "immigrants" and their ability to make claims on NHS and any other benefits, for clearly you are a (self-professed) expert on these matters.

perhaps you'ld also like to suggest to HMRC that they do an audit of your builder-son's accounts etc, just to prove that he can account for every penny goinfg back for 7 years

Davai - 14 Jan 2013 13:25 - 20062 of 81564

Fred, strongly disagree. If the same jobs were taken up by UK resident, the money would be spent back into the local community. Once its sent out of the country, it will be to the benefit of the economy of said workers nationality.

TANKER - 14 Jan 2013 13:32 - 20063 of 81564

read LAST WEEKS PAPERS ABOUT WHAT E PICKLES AS SAID

TANKER - 14 Jan 2013 13:33 - 20064 of 81564

america austrailia you are not allowed to send dollars home it is illegal

cynic - 14 Jan 2013 13:36 - 20065 of 81564

No - you tell us, as clearly you know everything about everything ..... and what is the relevance about rules that may (or may not) pertain in usa and australia?

TANKER - 14 Jan 2013 13:39 - 20066 of 81564

a few years ago you were not allowed to take on hol above a certain amount
why was this stopped

skinny - 14 Jan 2013 13:40 - 20067 of 81564

I reiterate post 20056.

Fred1new - 14 Jan 2013 13:45 - 20068 of 81564

Davai,

Think again!

Difference between "cash" and "commodities".

-----------------------------------------

Ps.

Some know now how the Celts and the Picts felt when the B.Romans, Normans and Anglo-Saxons came and invaded "our" country.

Some are still waiting for you lot to go home.

In the meantime, I still think there should be a boundary wall built around Wales to prevent further invasion and immigration by Little Englanders.

---------------

Cynic, if you go, can you take my wife.

======================

Jesus, I never said that. Wrong country.
