maestro

You cannot or, should I say, you should not make posts like that.

If you've heard a rumour and you cannot verify the accuracy of the details, then please do not post anything about it until such time that you can.

If I sound as though I am lecturing, I apologise, but you get my point.

The oily one

cynic - 20 Sep 2006 12:34 - 20057 of 27111

rumours cannot have their content verified or they would be fact not rumour!

aldwickk - 20 Sep 2006 13:43 - 20058 of 27111

thats a fact.

foale - 20 Sep 2006 13:51 - 20059 of 27111

Always wondered what all the posts were about on this thread...in the last year or so..

first one to buy under 2p... well in that case dreams can come true..

Sorry but this one used to hold some promise, now its
a lesson in what happens when you dont have a stop loss..

Its a shrink wrapped dog..

garyble - 20 Sep 2006 14:19 - 20060 of 27111

OBLO
You will be pleased to hear I stopped the rain for your visit. Now hot and sunny for two days - and the motorbike is performing beautifully and Elba was a magnificent isle. Ah, so different from Russia - but back there next month for a few days!!

Enjoy Tuscany. I will not be here to meet up as am moving north and west to the Var district, France. (St Trop-ish).

Oilywag - 20 Sep 2006 17:25 - 20066 of 27111

barney12345

The oily one

barney12345 - 20 Sep 2006 17:27 - 20067 of 27111

PATISEAR - 20 Sep 2006 17:58 - 20068 of 27111

maestro
Is the rumour about SEO [directly].

waveydavey - 20 Sep 2006 18:33 - 20069 of 27111

MAESTRO- posting 'rumours' does more harm than good---- but i guess you know that already.

It's all lies , unless backed up.
If it can't be backed up -- then it's a lie.

hlyeo98 - 20 Sep 2006 21:05 - 20070 of 27111

SEO is heading downhill in a steep manner...2.7p now.

Fred1new - 20 Sep 2006 23:37 - 20071 of 27111

Perhaps, just a little unknown.

But if it is unknown, how do you know it is little?

Good night everybody.

nickrichards - 21 Sep 2006 07:35 - 20072 of 27111

it appears that this mornings RNS is the RNS dated 8/9/06, it looks as though it has been re-issued by mistake, I cant imagine this is a problem with my system. does this appear on everyone elses screen as an old RNS?

Nick

hewittalan6 - 21 Sep 2006 07:36 - 20073 of 27111

No its just the wire service has just got confused over an RNS for a swiss company with the same epic.

nickrichards - 21 Sep 2006 07:44 - 20074 of 27111

Thanks Alan, I would have thought that could / should not happen, I saw the news re the bid for Serono but I cant quite see how it would trigger an old RNS for SEO, as you say, the epic is the same, perhaps the LSE need to look at their system?

Nick

hewittalan6 - 21 Sep 2006 07:47 - 20075 of 27111

I get it all the time on HYC and particularly on Ben Bailey. The EPIC code is BBC so any news story that mentions BBC TV or radio triggers an "N" on my stockwatch!!!
The reason you see the old one is because the search facility automatically gives you any news story up yo one month old.
