Perhaps, just a little unknown.

But if it is unknown, how do you know it is little?

Good night everybody.

nickrichards - 21 Sep 2006 07:35 - 20072 of 27111

it appears that this mornings RNS is the RNS dated 8/9/06, it looks as though it has been re-issued by mistake, I cant imagine this is a problem with my system. does this appear on everyone elses screen as an old RNS?

Nick

hewittalan6 - 21 Sep 2006 07:36 - 20073 of 27111

No its just the wire service has just got confused over an RNS for a swiss company with the same epic.

nickrichards - 21 Sep 2006 07:44 - 20074 of 27111

Thanks Alan, I would have thought that could / should not happen, I saw the news re the bid for Serono but I cant quite see how it would trigger an old RNS for SEO, as you say, the epic is the same, perhaps the LSE need to look at their system?

Nick

hewittalan6 - 21 Sep 2006 07:47 - 20075 of 27111

I get it all the time on HYC and particularly on Ben Bailey. The EPIC code is BBC so any news story that mentions BBC TV or radio triggers an "N" on my stockwatch!!!
The reason you see the old one is because the search facility automatically gives you any news story up yo one month old.

Stanelco PLC ('Stanelco' or 'the Company')

Trading update

Further to the trading update on 17 August 2006, the Company is continuing to
negotiate with the two parties with which it signed letters of intent to
compound Starpol resin for the US market, and contracts are in the process of
being finalised.

As the Company's portfolio of products moves closer to commercialisation, the
costs of this have increased relative to those in the first half of the
financial year. As a result, the Company now expects that the loss for the six
months to 31 October 2006 will moderately exceed that of the first half.

The Company is making good progress in discussions on the financing options
available to it and will update the market once any further information is
available.

Is it safe to post on this thread, hewittalan6 is getting paranoid and has delusions of grandeur that he is a celebrity and that am stalking him, how very sad.

robinhood - 21 Sep 2006 10:22 - 20081 of 27111

Wow- Sharesmag now syaing that SEO now looks much more attractive with Teather Greenwood expecting a profit of 1.3 million next year. (Just wished though that one morning SEO will release a RNS that will bring a smile on my face)

hewittalan6 - 21 Sep 2006 10:26 - 20082 of 27111

Already known and exposed on this thread - so no response.

rh,
Any more detail on that? Such as what they are basing their figures on and when the research was done?
Thanks,
Alan

robinhood,
Well, you've brought a smile to my face!

cynic - 21 Sep 2006 10:29 - 20084 of 27111

Alan - you are beginning to sound cynical, though I would certainly agree with you this time!

hewittalan6 - 21 Sep 2006 10:45 - 20085 of 27111

I am always cynical. It's a survival trait.

Until the contracts are signed that could be a lot of house broker optimism.

Turnover would surely need to be at least 10 mil for the co to make 1.3 mil profit - and that is also an optimistic estimate.

IMO/DYOR

robinhood - 21 Sep 2006 11:10 - 20088 of 27111

Was just a small article under the heading "worth a punt" .It mentionned the slow progress towards commercialisation and its cash burn but at current lvls it looks attractive assuming greenseals technical problems are finally solved and sales begin. That is about it

hewittalan6 - 21 Sep 2006 11:18 - 20089 of 27111

Thanks rh.
My info is that problems are solved and sales are here, but that cannot be confirmed by anything other than an RNS, so DYOR, WTFDIK etc.etc.
To balance that i do have concerns, though these are just thoughts and not because of any info received.

H6, you must be sitting in a time machine, that which I posted was put out as to-days RNS. (date noted before I did paste it) But if you are in a time machine your trading could be profitable and you can afford me a pint if ever we meet.
