Just back in and totally mystified.
One point. The RNS with SEO attached was nothing to do with SEO, so whoever said it was a smokescreen????
Buys outdoing sells again and the SP falls!! There must be a big seller in the background, but they must know something we do not, for I can find no trace of any fresh news to uphold this shift.

just for the record ...... i have wrongly poked fun or even blackened Shares Mag by suggesting that they were strong advocates of SEO ..... history shows that they were back in 2004 when sp was then 5p and rising ..... they then recommended to sell at 12p in May 2006 and even ran a theoretical short from about August, which they then closed (prematurely!) to crystalise a profit.

As for "more buys that sells today", i shall repeat what i have said previously ..... is very likely to be bears realising gains, and that does not alter the fundamantals.

soul traders - 21 Sep 2006 15:59 - 20135 of 27111

Cynic, Shares Mag actually appears to have changed its stance today (or at least they quote the house broker as being very positive). Clearly everyone's copy has been eaten by their dog, which explains the selling.

Haystack - 21 Sep 2006 16:06 - 20136 of 27111

How many people actually believe house brokers? Surely it must be similar to those who believe in fairies and Father Christmas. It is not often you will see a house broker say 'SELL'! In fact are there any examples?

cynic - 21 Sep 2006 16:10 - 20137 of 27111

soul* ..... they quote T&G as being positive, which is not quite the same!

rpaco - 21 Sep 2006 16:12 - 20138 of 27111

Now still at 2/1.97 11.3MBuy/7.7MSell Could there be a huge unrecorded sell in the background which will go through after hours?
Can anyone with level 2 see why? Or is a crystal ball necessary?

soul traders - 21 Sep 2006 16:14 - 20139 of 27111

Cynic, didn't I put that in parentheses??!!

Anyway, I'll believe the house broker when confronted with evidence.

A witty post from AD..N

seo has long been a pioneer in the biodegradable world, and aim to become the first company to totally disappear, leaving nothing behind other than a few wealthy directors.

driver - 21 Sep 2006 16:35 - 20141 of 27111

aldwickk
You forgot about us who have had so much fun posting for the last couple of years.

maestro - 21 Sep 2006 16:48 - 20142 of 27111

don't forget a dog like Sanctuary went up from 0.5p to over 2p a few months back for a 3 bagger...SEO will bounce back to 8p from 2p...the key is to sell out at 8p and then buy back in when it goes back down to 2p again

robinhood - 21 Sep 2006 16:55 - 20143 of 27111

interesting to see if there is news or a correction on sp manana

cynic - 21 Sep 2006 16:57 - 20144 of 27111

just for info for you chaps ..... average volume for last 3 months is 4 million ..... today's volume of 26 million speaks volumes!

markusantonius - 21 Sep 2006 17:03 - 20145 of 27111

Wonder if anyone had the bottle to "short" this morning?

robinhood - 21 Sep 2006 17:04 - 20146 of 27111

fyi of which 16 million were buys particularly at the end of the session

markusantonius - 21 Sep 2006 17:12 - 20147 of 27111

Not necessarily, Robin. Depends on which side of the mid price it was at the time especially during a day when the price moves by over 25%.

jaguar121 - 21 Sep 2006 17:12 - 20148 of 27111

Richard Branson has just announced he is going to invest $3 billion in alternative fuels and environmental ideas so that we use less fossil fuels. Someone tell him about SEO !!!!!!!!!!!

hewittalan6 - 21 Sep 2006 17:13 - 20149 of 27111

Just looked at the trades and its even less clear now!!!!
1 million worked trade at 2.59p and 3.5 million ordinary trade at 2p, both racked as buys. The 2p trade could be either in theory, but the worked trade must have been a buy at that price.
Baffled.

cynic - 21 Sep 2006 17:26 - 20150 of 27111

JB .... Richard Branson is of course a great self-publicist and will be more interested in trying to get his planes to fly on cheaper non-fossil fuel than wrapping them in biodegradable clingfilm

maestro - 21 Sep 2006 17:27 - 20151 of 27111

heard Ashley of advfn is buying big...no finer pointer
