THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

I love your statement 20129 Tanker.

Anyone who kills, "with the aim of killing", someone should be punished in the same way if possible, otherwise hanged. This way, we will not fill psychiatry hospitals with criminals who give excuses and enjoy the costly life. Their life style is better than many who work in this country.

TANKER - 15 Jan 2013 15:55 - 20138 of 81564

The men, all from Oxford, allegedly plied six girls with alcohol, cocaine and heroin before repeatedly raping them.

Kamar Jamil, 27, Akthtar Dogar, 32, Anjum Dogar, 30, Assad Hussain, 32, Mohammed Karrar, 38, Bassam Karrar, 26, Mohammed Hussain, 24, Zeeshan Ahmed, 27, and Bilal Ahmed, 26, deny the charges against them.

Tanker,

If your mates at the pub are of a similar ilk to you, the emotions I would like you to pass on to them, are ones of sympathy and pity.

TANKER - 15 Jan 2013 15:58 - 20140 of 81564

thank you AHOJ nice to see sense

cynic - 15 Jan 2013 16:02 - 20141 of 81564

oh i see ("cynic this is my country unlike you it is not") ...... so 3rd generation is still a ne'er-do-well interloper then ..... i assume you can trace your ancestry directly back to cromagnon man in that case (though they migrated from europe too)

Fred1new - 15 Jan 2013 16:03 - 20142 of 81564

Ahoy,

Perhaps, one can learn from those incarcerated in psychiatric hospitals and maybe prevent the "deviations" which led up to them committing the crimes.

Although, it is more difficult, such information gained may be used to prevent aberrant behaviour, which might be more fruitful than the satisfaction of blind punishment and revenge.

But, perhaps, I am an optimist.

Well I don't believe we should fill prisons with those that are a danger to society due to crimes committed. If the 8 from Oxford and 1 from Berkshire are convicted of the 51 offences that they are accused then they should face life in prison. Personally I would sell all of the convicteds assets to pay for the imprisionment, when finances are exhausted maybe then think about capital punishment.

cynic - 15 Jan 2013 16:05 - 20145 of 81564

as the more right wing might say while stealing an old tag line, "go gas; 6 million jews can't be wrong!"

skinny - 15 Jan 2013 16:05 - 20146 of 81564

cynic - I'm guessing not too many generations!

cynic - 15 Jan 2013 16:08 - 20147 of 81564

sort of en passant ..... while these children may have been groomed, are not the clients equally guilty? ..... has anyone suggested what ethnic minority they may have been? ..... perhaps there were even a large number with cromagnon ancestry, and thus related to Tanker

skinny - 15 Jan 2013 16:09 - 20148 of 81564

Oprah: Armstrong 'did not come clean in expected way'

3 monkies - 15 Jan 2013 16:15 - 20149 of 81564

Cut off their tackle and drop them from a very high height and let the wildlife do the rest!!! Just a thought. Would save prison expenses, still sell their assets to pay for the court expenses and give some to the poor girls who probably will never recover and will need all the help they can get.

Shortie - 15 Jan 2013 16:15 - 20150 of 81564

Cynic the clients or anyone else involved in the matter I think should be tried and if found guilty also convicted. This country is a soft touch to crimes committed against both women and children. We seam to spend more time and money on racial harrassment due to the noise it makes and the ease the media can get involved.

Fred1new - 15 Jan 2013 16:20 - 20151 of 81564

N . and SK.

Reminds me of Josephine Baker and the Rainbow Tribe and balmy nights near Chateau de Mildandes in the Dordogne.

Wish I was that young again for a few weeks.

cynic - 15 Jan 2013 16:21 - 20152 of 81564

ok, let's have a bit of fun ......
assuming consenting adults, does anyone object to prostitution?

cynic - 15 Jan 2013 16:22 - 20153 of 81564

fred - if cromagna(!) women were similar, i'ld happily be associated!

Davai - 15 Jan 2013 16:25 - 20154 of 81564

Looks like i picked the wrong time to try to change the subject (

Shortie - 15 Jan 2013 16:27 - 20155 of 81564

Cynic, post 20154, I'd answer No.

Haystack - 15 Jan 2013 16:27 - 20156 of 81564

deny the charges against them

doesn't that mean innocent until proven otherwise?
