Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

Ian. No Level 2 prices this morning - all are attempting to Connect or Losing the connection. Single boards and terminals.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 29 Apr 2004 07:49 - 2017 of 7315

Maggot,

We are talking to our suppliers in an attempt to resolve this - Please accept my apologies.

I will update you when I have further news,

Something up with the traders thread. All others seem OK

Robb - 29 Apr 2004 17:25 - 2023 of 7315

Mike - Hils Forex thread also not updating in the list now I've read it uptodate. So far others seem ok.

Bullshare - 29 Apr 2004 17:31 - 2024 of 7315

JT is onto it

TullettJ (MoneyAM) - 29 Apr 2004 17:55 - 2025 of 7315

Hi.

Fixed.

Well, the symptoms are fixed, i will hunt down the problem starting tomorrow. Some of the threads appeared to have got their panties in a twist over the number of actual posts in them.

(the actual number was less than the number specified in the reference data...)

odd.

Robb - 29 Apr 2004 18:04 - 2026 of 7315

JT - I don't know if anything was changed overnight to the BB or the traders thread header or something but I have found the bb slow all day with quite a few blank pages returned but the big problems only started with some very strange posting behaviour in the latter part of the afternoon. It seemed as if there was a 10/15 min delay from posting a reply to it appearing on the thread as well as it not updating on the main thread list.

Good luck in your bug hunt :-)

Red Underwing - 29 Apr 2004 21:15 - 2027 of 7315

The capital reoganisation of KBT, effective today, was in the form of a 5:1 share consolidation.
http://moneyam.uk-wire.com/cgi-bin/articles/200404061518174174X.html

The charts on MoneyAm do not currently take this into account, but show an apparent 400% increase in share price.

Time to sort it out?

Robb,

JT will investigate this when he comes in this morning.

Red,

I will pass this onto Felix to take a look at.

Buggette. Terminal pane with News in it. Wanted Alliance and Leicester which is AL. - doesn't display it. Main site filtering of AL. works fine.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 30 Apr 2004 13:06 - 2030 of 7315

BrianTrayda,

I have just spoken to JT - this should now be fixed - please can you try again and let me know if it is ok?

Ian

BrianTrayda - 30 Apr 2004 13:08 - 2031 of 7315

Bloody 'ell - I've just bought you both a virtual beer. :-)))yard%2520x%25202.jpgWorks fine now.

TullettJ (MoneyAM) - 30 Apr 2004 13:12 - 2032 of 7315

BrianTrayda,

apologies for that, I didnt spot the 'epic' param in the terminal, so i didnt code support for it in the layer I just added above the request.

I had *just* finished fixing that bug when ian called over. if only they were all that easy :)

J.

ps, im taking the larger of those two beers. ta.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 30 Apr 2004 13:15 - 2033 of 7315

BT,

Thanks for the virtual beers - I will take the big glass as JT is only young and cannot handle his booze that well :) perhaps you should send him a virtual shandy!
